SCB is family-built and privately-owned, and we've invested our reputations in the quality of services we offer the publishing industry. We prize our independence from political affiliations, governing boards and bureaucracy.
Further, the SCB offices are located in the SCB warehouses so we have a constant overview of operations.

Thoughtful Choices
We carefully choose our publishers to complement our SCB list and to maximize each publisher's strengths. Other distributors increase their lists by continuously adding small presses in a process of unchecked growth. Of course, those presses soon find they're unable to develop a true working relationship with the distributor.

SCB takes booths at the world's major book sales shows and rights markets: Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair and Book Expo America, as well as at the library and other shows; and is represented at all regional book fairs in North America.
